Roger Eagle had a thing called 'The Last Trumpet' and there were a few fanzines around with good writing but it wasn't necessarily about music.

'There wasn't really any music fanzines around. This set features the bandвЂ™s first four Beggars Banquet-released albums The Icicle Works (1984), The Small Price of a Bicycle (1985), If You Want to Defeat Your Enemy, Sing His Song (1987) and Blind (1988 ) each expanded with bonus tracks (more than 30 in total), plus a live set recorded in 1986 (minus the two encore songs, since they didnвЂ™t fit on the CD). Roger Hill, who co-founded 'Merseysound' with Ronnie Flood, recalled the initial drive to create the zine: Unfortunately there are no concert dates for The Icicle Works scheduled in 2022.
